"don't fret, my pet"

the weather yesterday was a ten hour long orgasm. spring did not forsake me.

i'm starving.

the initial assessment for the tutor position went fairly well. i got called back for round two today, at least. however, i think most were called back as long as they could spell worth a damn. i'm a terrible speller. but i can sound out. which is fairly important if you're being asked to spell nonsense words. as i was.

the second part of the assessment was a comprehension test. which basically consisted of the kinds of questions you might be asked when you begin a course in logic... pretty simple. i guess i did okay. i'll know today.

former teachers are applying for this job. which i don't quite understand. i pretty much know i won't get it though. having nothing to gain is a good attitude to go into an interview with, really. second only to having nothing to lose. but it takes far too much energy to act as though you have nothing to lose.

to make up for the boredom that this entry has most likely caused thus far, i think i'll link to ben's new band site (which is about 15 hours old and fairly incomplete): the good mornings, who have an actual, not quite living, not quite breathing, ep in the making... which is going to be released on april 17th. and believe me, i'm the first to be skeptical about the quality... but ben is pretty much ecstatic about the recording. which has never been the case before. as ben is ben's worst critic. ahhaaa but it should be ready soon. if anybody wants a copy.

don't tell anybody i said so, but the photographs make those guys look much cooler than they actually are. except for maybe the drummer, anthony. he is that cool. no, but actually they are all genuinely cool guys, and i love them all the pieces, i think.

lee ha ha. i'm going to go put some citrus in my stomach while citrus is still in season. and i might go back to sleep.

as if it is a decision i can make.
